Connectivity solutions provider, NetworkFlow, has launched a Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network for its business customers. This service is enabled through a highly advanced IT infrastructure solution, designed and implemented to  NetworkFlow's precise requirements by network security specialist and Cisco Gold Partner, s2s, a subsidiary of Bailey Teswaine – part of the NG Bailey Group. This solution from s2s allows NetworkFlow to provide its customers with individual MPLS networks running off its core MPLS cloud, ensuring consistently high performance across all applications.

Furthermore, the solution enables businesses to connect from any point to multiple other points in their own networks, offering a cost-effective, secure solution with guaranteed bandwidth and service quality. NetworkFlow’s new scalable MPLS-enabled IP VPN can be adapted for small or large organisations and allows true convergence of voice and data.

NetworkFlow has signed a long-term agreement with s2s to manage and maintain the MPLS network using their state-of-the-art Network Operating Centre (NOC) based near Gatwick, West Sussex. s2s has invested in new equipment valued at over £1 million to manage and maintain its facility, ensuring some of the highest levels of system and network security in the UK.

Prior to working with s2s, NetworkFlow provided simple internet access and wide area networks based on VPN technologies such as IPsec. It was the rapidly increasing business demand for VoIP that drove NetworkFlow to update its historic network technology with the advanced functionality of MPLS. Alexander says, “VoIP is a very valuable tool for business but free services such as Skype are notoriously vulnerable to security breaches and very unreliable in terms of quality. We can now provide our customers with low-cost, high-quality VoIP that’s guaranteed to be secure and reliable.”

The new MPLS cloud is the latest in a line of projects s2s have successfully completed for NetworkFlow. Alexander insists that having total confidence in his suppliers and the equipment in place is essential to continued success.
